Robert Truscott

Since 1982, we have operated this small train on a 125mm track in the garden of our home at Doroba Railway Station.

We entertain children from Playgroups, Kindergartens and Preschools in Bundaberg and from the surrounding district.

The children enjoy their time here riding on the train and playing on other equipment in the garden.

This is a hobby for us which we greatly enjoy.

The groups give a donation for their time here. The money is forwarded to The Shepherd Centre where deaf children are taught to listen and speak.

We can appreciate this as our grandson, Scott attended The Shepherd Centre at an early age and is now enjoying working within a trade and he converses really well.
